Builders were the Gladers who constructed most things around the Glade, such as structures and other simple items that would help with carrying and moving things around. They also upgraded existing structures and buildings as well as repairing them. The Keeper of the Builders was Gally.

- It is said in The Maze Runner that the Builders were good at building, but weren't the smartest Gladers.
- In the Maze Runner film, a theory suggested that after Gally escaped the Glade, Dan would have become the First-in-Command of the Gladers and picked someone else to be Keeper of the Builders. This is a theory and not confirmed.
