The Maze Runner[]
Alec survived the Griever Attack. He and Dan were two of three Gladers instructed to tie up Thomas and Teresa up in front of the Maze Doors. He attempted to tie Thomas to a wooden pole for the offering after he and another Glader dropped him. However, Thomas woke up and hit Alec in the face with a spear, knocking him to the ground, unconscious.
Alec had no choice but to stay with Gally in the Glade as he did regain consciousness in time to escape with the others. He was later left behind by Gally, who also escaped. Alec was seen when Carl and John were checking on him on one of the monitors Newt was looking at.
The Death Cure[]
While the character didn't appear in The Death Cure, his actor was credited for the Film, confirming his survival.
