Gladers Who Stayed Behind

The Gladers who stayed behind were Gladers who were loyal to Gally, as most of them were Builders and listened to his reasoning. They listened to Gally and stayed with him in the Glade while Thomas went to escape the Maze alongside Teresa, Newt, Minho, Frypan, Chuck, Winston, Jeff, Jack, Tim, Billy, Mike, and Peter. They were later left behind by Gally, who went to stop Thomas' group from escaping, getting himself stung by a Griever in the process and resulting in Minho having to throw a spear at him, causing it to impale Gally in the chest. It is unknown what happened to the remaining Gladers.

Though most Gladers stayed behind, a few Gladers wanted to go with Thomas. Carl became remorseful over not joining Thomas' group in escaping the Maze, as he, alongside Gally, watched the others run into the Maze. while Unnamed Glader 13 stepped forward to join Thomas, but stopped when Gally ordered him not to listen to Thomas, successfully persuading the Glader to stay.
