Stephen was a former Glader mentioned by Thomas in The Maze Runner.

Biography
When Thomas went to the Deadheads, the first grave he sees is the one of Stephen whose the "n", engraved tiny at the edge of the stone, shows that the Bagger in charge of the burial had misestimated the space needed.
