The Slammer was a boring concrete building in the Glade with only one lopsided chair and a window. It acted like a jail for the Gladers who had done something bad. Thomas had once been imprisoned in the Slammer. Alby had also once ordered Teresa to be put in the Slammer because he thought she was a threat.
